Welcome to my Homepage!

Thanks for stopping by

This place is my own little digital world. Here is where I can rant about my interests, share projects that I'm working on, and go down all the little rabbit holes I like to go down.

Things are still a work in progress, and this site is always going to be evolving as my interests change and I get bored of one thing and move onto another. However, and what I'm most looking forward to, is building an archive of of my digital interests for me to look back and see the things that I've learned. It's easy to get lost in the newest big thing and chasing trends on social media, but here it's just me. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Check out the links in the navegation panel to explore what I've made so far. Also check out the right side of the page to see what thing I own that I'm enjoying the most right now.

I don't know what else to put here so here's a photo I took last summer (August 2023) in the NH Whites:

My Current Favorite Thing

Donabe

I have had a donabe for some time since I found one for a very good price at a thrift store. I was aware that they are very common in Japan and other parts of East Asia as a way of making rice, soups, and other dishes, but I was not aware of just how cool they are and how great the food you make in them comes out. I eat a lot of rice, and this has been a game changer in simplifing my cooking experience (and moving away from plastics and nonstick cooking surfaces). Much like a cast-iron pan, the surface of the ceramic builds a seasoning, and is able to impart fragrance and flavor into future foods you make in it. I would definitely recommend one to those who really enjoy rice or trying new methods of cooking.
